Pyongyang, like all other states supporting Moscow, must be held accountable. Japan\u2019s Permanent Representative to the UN, Kazuyuki Yamazaki, made the statement during a debate in the UN General Assembly on September 1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;color: #666\">As reported by the online media outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrinform.ua\/rubric-world\/4159908-vsi-hto-pidtrimuut-rf-maut-buti-pritagnuti-do-vidpovidalnosti-aponia-v-oon.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"outer_link\">Ukrinform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Any actions that directly or indirectly support Russia\u2019s aggression are, in themselves, violations of international law. All states involved in this aggression must be held accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Japan\u2019s Permanent Representative to the UN, Kazuyuki Yamazaki<\/p>\n<p>Kazuyuki Yamazaki expressed deep concern over the continued involvement of North Korean troops in combat operations against Ukraine. He noted that military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow contradicts the UN Charter and UN Security Council resolutions.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, such support not only violates international law but also poses a threat to peace and security in Europe, the Indo-Pacific region, and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>Japan calls for increased support for Ukraine<\/p>\n<p>Japan\u2019s representative described Russia\u2019s aggression as a gross violation of the foundations of the international order based on the rule of law.
