{"id":141013,"date":"2026-09-02T22:29:35","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T22:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/141013\/"},"modified":"2026-09-02T22:29:35","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T22:29:35","slug":"always-lalisa-doc-about-k-pop-star-lisa-sets-release-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/141013\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Always Lalisa&#8217; Doc About K-Pop Star Lisa Sets Release Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/always-lalisa\/\" id=\"auto-tag_always-lalisa\" data-tag=\"always-lalisa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Always Lalisa<\/a>, the feature documentary following K-Pop star <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/lisa\/\" id=\"auto-tag_lisa\" data-tag=\"lisa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lisa<\/a>, will open in IMAX and cinemas worldwide for a limited engagement via <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/trafalgar-releasing\/\" id=\"auto-tag_trafalgar-releasing\" data-tag=\"trafalgar-releasing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trafalgar Releasing<\/a> beginning October 12, before streaming exclusively on YouTube Premium later this year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe plans were announced today by Sony Music Vision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDirected by Sue Kim, the film follows a pivotal year in Lisa\u2019s life as she steps away from K-Pop group <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/blackpink\/\" id=\"auto-tag_blackpink\" data-tag=\"blackpink\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Blackpink<\/a> for \u201ca year of independence.\u201d The doc chronicles the \u201cfear and pressure of launching a solo career, pursuing acting, and building a brand, while yearning to maintain a personal life beyond the spotlight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLisa was one of the performers for the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and performed \u201cGoals\u201d alongside Anitta and Rema. She also performed at Coachella 2025 as a solo act and served on the 2026 Met Gala host committee as the first K-pop artist in that role. She made her acting debut in HBO\u2019s The White Lotus and has announced two Netflix projects \u2014 starring in and executive producing action film Tygo and an untitled romantic comedy currently in development. Her her upcoming EP, Press Play, is out October 23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlways Lalisa is produced by Sony Music Vision in association with RCA Records and Tremolo Productions in association with Salt Water Productions and LLOUD CO.
