LG Electronics will present a further expanded AI home ecosystem at Europe’s largest home appliance exhibition. LG Electronics said on Sept. 3 it will take part in IFA 2026 in Berlin from local time Sept. 4 for five days and showcase products and services spanning AI appliances, an AI home hub and an AI home platform.

The exhibition, themed “Innovation tailored to you,” will unveil about 150 key products. About 46 percent of the overall booth will be set up as a consultation space exclusively for business partners, operating the largest B2B customer consultation area in the company’s history.

The “AI Home” zone is built around “LG ThinQ On,” a next-generation AI home hub, and “LG ThinQ,” an AI home platform. It set up real-life spaces such as a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor area so visitors can experience AI providing functions tailored to each space’s characteristics.

It will also unveil for the first time “ThinQ Clo,” which strengthens autonomous AI agent features in LG ThinQ. ThinQ Clo is an AI agent installed in ThinQ On that talks with customers, understands living patterns, and suggests and executes needed functions first.

It will also showcase an energy management system using “Homi” from Athom, a smart home platform company it acquired in 2024. Homi is an open platform that can connect and centrally control more than 50,000 IoT devices. This time it has evolved into a form that manages energy flows throughout the home by linking with AI appliances, HVAC, solar power and energy storage devices. LG Electronics said it plans to use brand power built in Europe to also use it as a B2B solution for multi-family housing developers.

In the new product lineup, it will unveil for the first time the “Fit & Max” series, which applies high performance and high efficiency to built-in designs. It expanded a product range previously centered on refrigerators to washing machines, dryers and dishwashers, reflecting demand from European customers who value space and energy efficiency. The refrigerators apply a hinge structure that allows doors to open up to 110 degrees even when placed flush against wall cabinets, and the dishwashers use a sliding hinge door that reduces interference with lower cabinets. Laundry appliances secured washing and drying capacity while maintaining the European standard furniture depth of 600 mm.

In the energy leadership zone, it will introduce high-efficiency appliances based on dual inverter heat pumps and inverter compressor technology. Compared with Europe’s top energy rating standards, washing machines achieved an additional 70 percent reduction in energy use, while dishwashers and refrigerators achieved additional cuts of 30 percent and 35 percent, respectively.

Baek Seung-tae (백승태), head of LG Electronics’ HS Business Division and a vice president, said, “We will strengthen our leadership in the global premium home appliance market with a more convenient and expanded AI home ecosystem, including AI appliances, an AI home hub and an AI home platform.”

LG Electronics will take part in IFA 2026, Europe’s largest home appliance exhibition, held in Berlin from local…

[621
71795,11617,31982,315,357,5563
post-141227","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-lg-electronics","tag-athom","tag-berlin","tag-ifa-2026","tag-lg","tag-lg-electronics","tag-lg-thinq
["GET
