The cafe will open at 404 King Street on the ground level of the Alexandrian hotel.<\/p>\n<p>The new cafe features a strawberry chocolate cream cake, which the company touts as the \u201conly trademark-registered cake in Korea.\u201d The location is 2,600 square feet, and has 78 indoor and outdoor seats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Alexandria caf\u00e9 will also introduce a menu of Korean-inspired items including handcrafted beverages like the Dalgona Cream Top, Black Sesame Latte and Misugaru Frappe, alongside an all-day menu featuring K-Toast with Bulgogi and Egg, K-Chicken Panini and Bibimbowl,\u201d the restaurant said in a release.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alxnow.com\/files\/2026\/09\/Strawberry-Chocolate-Cream-2.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Strawberry Chocolate Cream #2 | ALXnow\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-87210 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alxnow.com\/files\/2026\/09\/Strawberry-Chocolate-Cream-2-600x600.jpg\" alt=\"Round chocolate cake topped with neatly arranged strawberries and a small TWOSOME plaque on a white cake board.\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\"  \/><\/a>Strawberry chocolate cream cake at Twosome Place (courtesy of Twosome Place)<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s debut in Alexandria marks an important milestone, said Jay (YoungJoo) Moon, CEO of Twosome Place Korea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to introduce American consumers to the caf\u00e9 culture we\u2019ve built over the past two decades, one centered on quality, hospitality, and creating a place where guests can gather over exceptional coffee and cake,\u201d Moon said.<\/p>\n<p>More grand opening details will be shared in the coming weeks, according to Twosome Place.<\/p>\n<p>The Alexandrian is also home to a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alxnow.com\/2026\/05\/29\/van-leeuwen-ice-cream-to-have-1-scoops-at-old-town-opening-in-june\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Van Leeuwen Ice Cream shop<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alxnow.com\/2025\/03\/31\/life-alive-organic-cafe-to-open-location-in-old-town\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Life Alive Organic Cafe<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A popular South Korean coffee shop chain is opening its first U.S. location in Alexandria in mid-October.
