Yonhap News<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">LG Display showcased its latest display technology at IFA 2026, Europe&#8217;s largest consumer electronics show, currently under way in Berlin. Rather than setting up a public exhibition hall, the company used its most advanced organic light-emitting diode technology to pitch European customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">LG Display (034220) set up a private booth next to the LG Electronics exhibition hall at this year&#8217;s IFA and held the &#8220;2026 Tandem WOLED Tech Show,&#8221; according to industry sources on the 7th.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">At the private booth, the company discussed panel orders for large displays such as monitors and televisions with local business-to-business customers, sources said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">LG Display put particular emphasis on Tandem, its next-generation OLED technology. Tandem stacks red, green and blue elements \u2014 the three primary colors of light \u2014 in separate independent layers, delivering longer life span, higher brightness and lower power consumption. Large OLED panels used in monitors and televisions carry Tandem WOLED, which combines the Tandem technology with the white light source that is a signature feature of LG Display&#8217;s OLED.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">LG Display first unveiled Tandem, its OLED technology brand, to the media at CES 2026, the world&#8217;s largest consumer electronics and IT show, held in Las Vegas earlier this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"LG Display announces its Tandem WOLED tech show at IFA 2026, Europe&#8217;s largest consumer electronics exhibition.
