This marks Ralph Lauren\u2019s first cancer center in Asia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBuilding on the company\u2019s longstanding support for cancer prevention and treatment efforts, the new center represents the next chapter in its commitment to expanding access to quality cancer care in communities around the world, including within South Korea, where it has provided support since 2012. The Ralph Lauren Center will serve as a hub for patients, families and caregivers from the Seoul metropolitan area and communities across South Korea, offering access to resources and programs that promote recovery and well-being.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Ralph Lauren Center for Patient and Family Recovery in Korea, expected to open in 2028,  joins a growing network of cancer centers and programs supported by The Ralph Lauren Corp. and the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation including <a data-id=\"1903081\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/fashion-news\/fashion-features\/feature\/ralph-lauren-cancer-center-opens-732367-1903081\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Memorial Sloan Kettering Ralph Lauren Center in Harlem, <\/a>N.Y.; the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at Geogetown University\u2019s<a data-id=\"1235605177\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/business-news\/business-features\/ralph-lauren-center-for-cancer-prevention-at-georgetown-lombardi-comprehensive-cancer-center-to-open-april-1235605177\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Lombardi Comprehensive<\/a> Cancer Center in Washington, D.C.; The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles; the UChicago Medicine Ralph Lauren Center in Chicago, and the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in the U.K., helping to fund initiatives at The Royal Marsden such as The Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research in London and the Ralph Lauren Research Wing at the Oak Cancer Centre in Sutton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Ralph Lauren Center in South Korea will be located within the Phase II Proton Therapy center at the NCC\u2019s new Innovative Cancer Research Center. It will provide a dedicated recovery space for patients undergoing proton therapy, as well as their families and caregivers, to help reduce anxiety and stress and offer holistic support that extends beyond clinical treatment. As the number of cancer survivors continues to grow, with more than 2.7 million people in South Korea living with or beyond cancer according to 2023 National Cancer Registry Statistics, the NCC is strengthening a patient-centered approach to support recovery, long-term health and well-being.
