{"id":146743,"date":"2026-09-08T03:32:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T03:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/146743\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T03:32:13","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T03:32:13","slug":"samsung-launches-h2-hiring-drive-across-19-affiliates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/146743\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung launches H2 hiring drive across 19 affiliates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/rcv.NEWS1.NEWS1.20260907.2026-09-07T140002_1008091419_INDUSTRY_I_P1.jpg\" orgwidth=\"700\" orgheight=\"525\" alt=\"(Samsung Electronics)\"\/>                      \uc0ac\uc9c4 \ud655\ub300                (Samsung Electronics)      <\/p>\n<p refid=\"2\">Samsung Group has launched its second-half open recruitment drive for employees at 19 affiliates, including Samsung Electronics Co. and Samsung C&amp;T Corp., on Tuesday, opening up a major hiring opportunity for young jobseekers.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"3\">According to Samsung on Monday, applicants can submit applications to their preferred affiliate through Samsung Careers until September 15.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"4\">The 19 participating affiliates include Samsung Electronics, Samsung C&amp;T, Samsung Display Co., Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., Samsung SDS, and Samsung Life Insurance Co.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"5\">The recruitment process will begin with a job suitability assessment in September, followed by the Samsung Global Aptitude Test (GSAT) in October, and interviews and health screenings in November.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"6\">Applicants for software positions will take a practical software competency test instead of the GSAT, while design applicants will be selected based on portfolio reviews.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"7\">Samsung is the only one of South Korea\u2019s four major business groups to maintain a regular open recruitment system for entry-level employees. The conglomerate introduced Korea\u2019s first open recruitment program in 1957 and has maintained it for 70 years.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"8\">It has also continued to evolve its hiring system.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"9\">Samsung introduced open recruitment for female college graduates in 1993 and removed educational requirements from its eligibility criteria in 1995. It also developed the GSAT to assess applicants\u2019 job-related capabilities.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"10\">In recent years, Samsung has expanded domestic investment and talent recruitment in advanced industries, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, batteries, and displays.<\/p>\n<p refid=\"11\">Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Jay Y.
