LG Electronics, which rose 36% this month alone, could rise 20% more in the future, according to an analysis.<\/p>\n

Analysts say that it has improved its constitution by improving its cost structure across the company and improving marketing cost efficiency, and at the same time, it has secured growth engines by aggressively promoting new robotics businesses.<\/p>\n

On the 14th, Hana Securities maintained its purchase opinion on LG Electronics and raised its target stock price from 160,000 won to 230,000 won.<\/p>\n

LG Electronics is promoting home robots, actuator business, which are core components of robots, and cooling solutions for AIDC as new businesses.<\/p>\n

In the case of home robots, it aims to commercialize them in 2028. In particular, LG Electronics’ strategy is to target home humanoids by increasing connectivity with home appliances that are traditionally strong.<\/p>\n

The actuator is a module that integrates a motor that creates rotational force, a driver that controls electrical signals, and a reducer that controls speed, and is a key component that serves as a robot joint.<\/p>\n

Kim Min-kyung, a researcher at Hana Securities, said, “LG Electronics is believed to be actively accelerating its robot business based on the recent advancement of the plan announced at the general shareholders’ meeting in March.”<\/p>\n

Data center (AIDC) cooling solution, another axis of LG Electronics’ new business, is an essential backward industry in the artificial intelligence (AI) era.<\/p>\n

AIDC, which uses multiple CPUs and GPUs for large-scale data processing and high-performance operations, consumes more power and increases heat generation than existing data centers, so a cooling solution is essential.<\/p>\n

Researcher Kim said, “The number of new orders for LG Electronics’ data center cooling business is increasing rapidly, and the momentum from the full-scale launch of AI-related businesses such as discussing collaborations with Nvidia on physical AI, AI data centers, and mobility cannot be ignored.”<\/p>\n

It has also been confirmed that the constitution will be improved to support the new business engine. LG Electronics posted 23.7 trillion won in sales in the first quarter, up 4 percent year-on-year, and 1.6737 trillion won in operating profit, up 35 percent.<\/p>\n

This is the result of significantly improving profitability by reducing costs for each business unit.<\/p>\n

Researcher Kim said, “LG Electronics achieved solid profitability in the HS sector due to increased sales of premium TVs and reduced marketing and fixed costs despite intensifying competition.
