Hanwha Forena has made a strategic move in its housing business with an “aesthetic of subtraction.”<\/p>\n
Hanwha Engineering & Construction officially unveiled “Forena Vista,” the 2026 exterior design for its Hanwha Forena apartment brand, on Wednesday. Built around the core concept of “Quiet Accent,” the new design layers the brand’s distinctive personality over a clean minimalist base, aiming to imprint Forena’s presence through simplicity.<\/p>\n
Since its launch, Hanwha Forena has built a unique brand image by consistently employing three-dimensional sculptural beauty and proprietary patterns. The company expects this new design to sharpen Hanwha Forena’s recognizability and identity as an extension of that approach.<\/p>\n
The centerpiece of “Forena Vista” is a cube-style facade that accentuates the building’s outer lines. Cube elements of varying sizes are arranged rhythmically to deliver both depth and visual dynamism, while a tone-on-tone combination of Forena Blue and warm gray creates a calm yet refined atmosphere.<\/p>\n
On the rooftop, the serif curve, a typographic feature of the “FORENA” brand mark, has been incorporated as a sculptural language so that the brand identity is conveyed naturally even from a distance. On the side of the building, Forena’s signature brand pattern is rendered in three-dimensional form to add volume, offering a multi-layered design experience whose texture shifts depending on the viewing angle.<\/p>\n
The design also actively embraces the rapid spread of solar panel installations in the apartment market, adopting BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaic) modules that are organically integrated with the exterior design. The approach captures both energy self-sufficiency and aesthetic refinement, strengthening the brand’s competitiveness as an eco-friendly building.<\/p>\n
Alongside the announcement, “Forena Crystal Chevron,” the signature line of “Forena Vista,” was also revealed. It applies a curtain wall technique that combines glass finishes with metal materials, delivering restrained gloss and rich texture. Pattern-style landscape lighting is added at the edges where glass panels meet, designed to create a dynamic and distinctive exterior image even at night.<\/p>\n
“Forena Vista is the result of our efforts to take Hanwha Forena’s design competitiveness to the next level,” said Kim Min-seok, head of the architecture business division at Hanwha Engineering & Construction. “Aiming beyond a simple product to create works that transform the urban landscape itself, we will continue to introduce new designs going forward.”<\/p>\n
