Korea Exchange<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The Korea Exchange (KRX) held a briefing on its KOSDAQ listing system for domestic artificial intelligence (AI) companies, aiming to hear regulatory challenges faced by firms in national core technology sectors during their listing preparations and to inform them of improvements to the customized technology special listing system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The Korea Exchange said Tuesday that it held a &#8220;Roundtable for CEOs of Leading AI Companies&#8221; at Pangyo Techno Valley. Five domestic AI companies attended the meeting, including DEEPX, Lablup, Rebellions, Upstage, and FuriosaAI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">DEEPX develops on-device AI semiconductor chips. Leveraging low-power and low-heat technology, the company has recently been securing customers based on its mass-produced products. Lablup develops and operates &#8220;Backend.AI,&#8221; an AI infrastructure management platform that supports efficient graphics processing unit (GPU) operations. Rebellions and FuriosaAI design and develop neural processing unit (NPU) semiconductors specialized for AI inference. Upstage provides AI solutions based on its proprietary large language model (LLM) and Document AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">At the roundtable, the exchange explained recent regulatory improvements, including the customized technology special listing system for the AI sector, and heard opinions from companies regarding KOSDAQ listing. The attending CEOs shared difficulties they face during listing preparations and provided feedback on the system. &#8220;The Korea Exchange will actively support leading domestic AI companies and innovative industries delivering outstanding performance so that they do not face difficulties during listing preparations,&#8221; KRX Chairman Jeong Eun-bo said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A view of the Korea Exchange.
