SK Bioscience (302440.KS) invited employees’ families to its Songdo headquarters to mark Family Month with a special event.<\/p>\n

The company said Thursday it held a family invitation event titled “Dr. SK’s Housewarming” at its Songdo headquarters in Incheon on May 30, with approximately 450 employees and family members in attendance. The event was designed to allow families to experience the workplace alongside employees, deepen their understanding of the company, and strengthen employees’ sense of belonging and pride.<\/p>\n

The gathering carried added significance as the first family invitation event held since SK Bioscience relocated its headquarters and research center to Songdo in January, providing an opportunity to share the company’s future vision and work environment. The new Songdo headquarters serves as an integrated hub organically connecting research (R), process development (PD), business development (BD) and marketing functions, functioning as a core forward base for the expansion of the company’s global vaccine and biotech business.<\/p>\n

The event was run in an open-house format under the concept of a “housewarming for the new Songdo headquarters,” allowing visitors to freely tour and enjoy the building. Families participated in tours of the office spaces and research facilities where employees actually work, as well as a range of programs designed to create memories, including family photo sessions, an AI career exploration photo zone, and a Love Mailbox.<\/p>\n

Customized science experience programs reflecting SK Bioscience’s identity, such as “Bio Laboratory” and “Little Laboratory,” were also offered, designed to help children understand their parents’ work and the biotech industry in a more accessible and engaging way.<\/p>\n

In addition, the first-floor lobby and outdoor areas featured a game zone, coloring zone, food trucks and a caf\u00e9, creating relaxation spaces where family visitors could comfortably enjoy their time. Content introducing the company’s history, key products and vaccine development process was displayed throughout the building, allowing families to naturally engage with SK Bioscience’s business and vision.<\/p>\n

“As the Songdo headquarters is a space that embodies the company’s future growth strategy, we hope this event served as a meaningful occasion for employees’ families to understand and share the company’s work and vision,” said An Ki-chae, head of corporate culture at SK Bioscience. “We plan to continue expanding corporate culture programs that allow employees and their families to share the company’s growth and values together.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SK Bioscience CEO Ahn Jae-yong (center) greets employees’ families at the event.
