Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made a surprise visit to the SK hynix (000660.KS) booth at Computex 2026, Asia’s largest information technology (IT) exhibition, on the afternoon of the 2nd local time, leaving a witty message asking the company to “make more” high bandwidth memory (HBM).<\/p>\n

Huang visited SK hynix’s Computex booth for the second consecutive year, following his appearance last year. SK hynix has set up a booth at Computex for three consecutive years since 2024.<\/p>\n

Huang signed the displayed seventh-generation HBM (HBM4E) wafer from SK hynix with the phrase “Please Make More.” SK hynix unveiled its HBM4E wafer sample for the first time at this Computex.<\/p>\n

He also left the message “LOVE SOCAMM” on a 192GB (gigabyte) SOCAMM. SOCAMM refers to a low-power memory module for artificial intelligence (AI) servers.<\/p>\n

Huang showed off his close ties with SK hynix executives, taking a group commemorative photo. Joining the gathering alongside Chairman Tae-won Choi were SK hynix CEO and President Kwak Noh-jung and SK hynix AI Infrastructure Head and President Kim Ju-seon.<\/p>\n

SK hynix currently supplies Nvidia with its latest HBM4 and high-performance, low-power LPDDR5X memory. The LPDDR5X, in particular, will be widely deployed in the AI PC that Nvidia unveiled on the 1st at GTC Taipei.<\/p>\n

In a keynote speech at GTC Taipei held at the Taipei Music Center the previous day, Huang said, “Vera Rubin is currently in full production,” adding, “We are doubling our production capacity through the Taiwan supply chain.” He particularly emphasized that memory from Samsung Electronics, SK hynix and Micron will be loaded onto the chips. HBM4 will be installed on Vera Rubin.<\/p>\n

SK hynix placed the “AI Factory Zone,” which visualizes its partnership with Nvidia, at the front of the exhibition, displaying matching products from both companies side by side to highlight their AI alliance.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Huang showed strong interest in display manufacturers as well, having entered the AI PC market. Around 4 p.m. that day, he signed a 14-inch organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel for laptops near the Samsung Display booth. Nvidia recently unveiled its AI laptop, the “RTX Spark.”<\/p>\n
