As of 11 a.m. that day, Hyundai Motor traded at 634,000 won, down 9.43% from the previous session.

After the KOSPI plunged more than 8% in early trading and slid to the 7,600 level, shaking the broader domestic stock market, the top 1% investors were seen as having treated Hyundai Motor as a bargain-buying opportunity. In particular, news of a meeting between Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Euisun Chung stimulated investor sentiment. Huang visited Hyundai Motor Group headquarters in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, that day to meet with Chung. The two sat down again just a day after sharing lunch at Woo Lae Oak in Euljiro, Seoul, the previous day.

The two are expected to discuss cooperation on “physical AI,” which applies artificial intelligence to actual industrial sites such as autonomous driving, robotics, and smart factories. This is analyzed as reflecting expectations that Hyundai Motor could be re-evaluated as a platform company that implements AI and robot technology at actual industrial sites, beyond being an automaker.

The second-most net bought stock was SK hynix. SK hynix traded at 1.997 million won at the same time, down 3.53% from the previous session. While profit-taking across semiconductor stocks and the sharp market drop overlapped after the share price rose to around 2 million won, the stock masters were seen as viewing the correction as a buying opportunity. NH Investment & Securities raised its target price for SK hynix that day to 3.5 million won from 2.5 million won. The firm’s analysis was that an edge in high-bandwidth memory (HBM) supply and rising memory prices would lift its earnings outlook.

In third place was Samsung Electronics. Samsung Electronics traded at 307,000 won, down 6.69%. Even amid the plunge, the stock masters bought both Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, continuing their buying stance toward semiconductor leaders. NH Investment & Securities presented a target price of 390,000 won for Samsung Electronics that day. The point that demand for general-purpose DRAM and NAND could rise together amid the spread of agentic AI was cited as an investment point.

Other stocks ranking high in net buying included Samsung Electronics preferred shares (005935), Hanmi Semiconductor (042700), Celltrion (068270), NAVER (035420), and Leeno Industrial (058470). Samsung Electronics preferred shares fell 5.31%, Hanmi Semiconductor 8.13%, and Celltrion 6.53%. Amid the broad market plunge, bargain buying flowed in centered on existing leading and growth stocks such as semiconductors, bio, and internet.

By contrast, the most net sold stock was SK Telecom (017670). SK Telecom traded at 113,300 won at the same time, up 6.48%. As buying had recently concentrated on expectations of cooperation with Nvidia, some profit-taking was seen to have emerged. SK Telecom announced a partnership based on Nvidia’s “DSX platform” that day. Its plan is to enter the full-stack AI cloud business spanning from semiconductor chips to data center operations and build Asia’s largest AI infrastructure.

Other top net sold stocks that day included Wonik IPS (240810), Hanwha Systems, Hyundai Mobis (012330), and LG Innotek (011070). The previous session’s top net bought stocks were SK hynix, NAVER, and Samsung Electronics, in that order. The top net sold stocks were Samsung SDI (006400), Samsung Electro-Mechanics (009150), and POSCO Holdings (005490), in that order.

Mirae Asset Securities tallies the trading of investors ranking in the top 1% for returns over the past month among its clients and discloses it on its mobile trading system (MTS) on a real-time, previous-day, and recent five-day basis. This statistical data is simple information guidance unrelated to Mirae Asset Securities’ opinion and does not guarantee investment or returns suited to each individual investor. In addition, caution is needed because theme stocks may be subject to abnormal sharp fluctuations.

The stocks most heavily net bought by high-return investors trading at Mirae Asset Securities (006800) on Monday were…

[21
295,702,26803,1550,2581,276,279,275,10022
post-45138","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-hyundai-motor","tag-hyundai","tag-hyundai-motor","tag-kospi-plunge","tag-mirae-asset-securities","tag-net-buying","tag-samsung-electronics","tag-semiconductor-stocks","tag-sk-hynix","tag-top-1-traders
["GET
