Moving beyond simple automation, they are accelerating their push into global markets with robotics technology that incorporates artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">According to industry sources Tuesday, Endotlight and A-Robot recently launched a project with Hanwha Ocean (042660.KS) to demonstrate humanoid robots at shipbuilding sites. The two companies plan to verify the feasibility of deploying humanoid robots at shipyards over the next year. Humanoid robots use the same workspaces, equipment, and movement paths used by people, and can be deployed for various tasks such as inspecting hazardous areas, making repetitive on-site movements, and transporting equipment and goods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Endotlight uses Nvidia&#8217;s &#8220;Omniverse&#8221; and &#8220;Isaac Sim&#8221; to build data infrastructure and simulation environments, and creates a digital twin environment similar to an actual shipyard based on 3D AI technology. A-Robot plans to use its humanoid robot &#8220;Alice&#8221; to verify the ability to perform industrial site tasks such as transporting heavy goods, autonomous movement, and walking on rough terrain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The adoption of robots is also gaining momentum at construction sites. Daedong Robotics recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with GS E&amp;C for joint research and development cooperation in construction site automation and smart construction technology. The two companies will establish a smart construction technology cooperation framework based on AI field robots and pioneer the related market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Under the agreement, the two companies will review the applicability of existing mass-produced AI field robot products at construction sites and pursue smart construction operation technology development, new technology cooperation, and joint research and development and proof of concept (PoC) for construction site-specific robots. Daedong Robotics will take charge of developing robots optimized for construction sites and advancing technology based on its autonomous driving robot platform, while GS E&amp;C plans to provide demonstration sites to support technology verification and commercialization.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Korean companies are also actively pursuing overseas markets. AI chip startup Rebellions signed an MOU with Ecopeace, a water purification robot specialist, to pursue a &#8220;Korean NPU-based K-water robot business.&#8221; The two companies aim to combine Korean AI chips with water robot technology to accelerate the commercialization of water robot solutions and gain an early lead in the global market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">In particular, the two companies are targeting the Middle East market, where demand for eco-friendly industries is rapidly increasing. In Middle Eastern oil-producing countries, including Saudi Arabia, interest in unmanned water robots that automatically detect pollutants and autonomously perform purification work is growing as demand for marine pollution management expands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">In response, the two companies plan to advance an eco-friendly water robot solution that integrates precision AI modules such as real-time video analysis, AI-based distance measurement, and autonomous route optimization.
