[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] ONF SEUNGJUN revealed the behind-the-scenes story of the group\u2019s agency transfer and their determination going forward.<\/p>\n

ONF held a showcase at Sangam Cube Convention Center on the 17th to commemorate the release of the 2nd part of its 2nd full-length album ‘ONF:MY SELF.’ On this day, SEUNGJUN said, \u201cWe talked a lot about finding the future we want to pursue and create, and that is how we came to transfer agencies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding the process of deciding to transfer, SEUNGJUN said, \u201cWe shared a very long journey with our previous company, and within that, we still hold on to many things we learned and many good memories,\u201d adding, \u201cThe members thought a lot about our future and our direction going forward, and we really talked a lot as well.\u201d He continued, \u201cThe members\u2019 opinions were divided in many ways, but we still aligned those opinions one by one and talked a lot about finding the future we want to pursue and create, and that is how we came to transfer.\u201d<\/p>\n

WYATT said, \u201cSEUNGJUN hyung said, \u2018Isn\u2019t it such a waste? We can do more. We have endured this much, so can\u2019t we endure this a little more?\u2019 That one sentence moved my heart, and I think it moved the members\u2019 hearts as well,\u201d adding, \u201cThat sentence was the most memorable.\u201d U said, \u201cWe had the desire to challenge ourselves together once again in a new environment, and because we believe we learned a lot and grew a lot at our previous company, we feel grateful.\u201d SEUNGJUN pledged, \u201cThere is a lyric in one of our songs that says, \u2018Because it will be a beginning called the end,\u2019\u201d adding, \u201cWe will open our Act 3 like that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about the secret to staying together, HYOJIN said, \u201cI think our goals were all the same, and because we deeply trust one another and believe our teamwork is really good, we made that decision with the thought that there may be even better results if we all stay together.\u201d WYATT said, \u201cOver a long period of time, we really came to know so much, and I think we also fought a lot with each other,\u201d adding, \u201cEven so, we truly became family, so when we said we were transferring agencies, I think it naturally happened.\u201d SEUNGJUN added, \u201cI think the biggest secret is delivering our honest feelings to one another without hiding anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding their goals going forward, HYOJIN said, \u201cWe want to hold concerts in much larger concert venues than now, and we are running toward our goals while also hoping to put ONF\u2019s name on digital music charts more often,\u201d adding, \u201cWe are moving forward with hope and positive thoughts, believing that we will someday be able to achieve those goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

ONF, which debuted in August 2017, has built a distinctive musical world with unique music and powerful performances through songs such as ‘We Must Love,’ ‘Beautiful Beautiful,’ and ‘Moscow Moscow,’ earning the modifier \u201ca trusted source of great songs.\u201d With Part 1 of its 2nd full-length album, ‘ONF: MY IDENTITY,’ released in February last year, the group recorded 111,789 copies in initial chodong sales, breaking its own initial chodong record. With the title track ‘The Stranger,’ ONF achieved its first No. 1 on a terrestrial music show on KBS2\u2019s Music Bank, while the music video surpassed 10 million views in just two days after release, continuing meaningful achievements.<\/p>\n

This 2nd part of ONF\u2019s 2nd full-length album, ‘ONF:MY SELF,’ continues the narrative of Part 1 and contains a story of choosing oneself at the end of a journey. It includes a total of six tracks, including the title track ‘Open The Door,’ and captures ONF\u2019s unique identity, with leader SEUNGJUN participating in the overall album planning, U in performance directing, and WYATT and MINKYUN in writing lyrics and composing.<\/p>\n
