{"id":57321,"date":"2026-06-18T16:58:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/57321\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T16:58:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:58:25","slug":"indochine-counsel-drives-thaco-hyundai-rotems-rail-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/57321\/","title":{"rendered":"Indochine Counsel drives THACO, Hyundai Rotem\u2019s rail deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.law.asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Indochine-Counsel-drives-THACO-Hyundai-Rotems-USD332m-deal.jpg\" data-caption=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"THACO Hyundai Rotem Deal\" title=\"Indochine-Counsel-drives-THACO-Hyundai-Rotems-USD332m-deal\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1781801905_294_Indochine-Counsel-drives-THACO-Hyundai-Rotems-USD332m-deal-696x464.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vietnamese law firm Indochine Counsel has advised THACO Group on its  agreement with South Korean railway manufacturer Hyundai Rotem Company on the technology transfer and localisation of metro rolling stock in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Managing partner <a href=\"https:\/\/law.asia\/dang-the-duc-indochine-counsel-2023\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dang The Duc<\/a> led the deal team with the support of partner Dang Hoan My and associate Ngo Dang Loc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The firm\u2019s IP and technology practice was also involved, comprising senior associate Thai Gia Han, associate Vu Hoang Ha Thu and junior associate Nguyen Trung Nghia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement marks the latest collaboration between THACO Group and Hyundai Rotem in relation to the Vietnamese government\u2019s push to develop the country\u2019s urban, inter-regional and high-speed rail systems.
