This year, the program plans to select a total of 300 young people to nurture them as technical talent who will lead the smart transformation of manufacturing sites, while sharing POSCO Group&#8217;s smart manufacturing know-how with local youth to strengthen their employment competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The K-New Deal Academy is a project that supports young people&#8217;s entry into the labor market by designing and operating vocational ability development training and programs specialized in fields tailored to participating companies, including large corporations. Major companies such as Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) and SK hynix (000660.KS) are participating, and youth participants receive training allowances of up to 300,000 won per month in the Seoul metropolitan area and up to 500,000 won in non-metropolitan areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The training courses consist of five practice-oriented fields: on-device AI-based industrial software development; manufacturing AI modeling designed with deep learning; large language model (LLM)-based smart factory AI assistant development; AI data analysis for predicting equipment failures; and perceptive vision AI safety control development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The academy has been recruiting participants since Tuesday, and any job-seeking youth aged 34 or younger can apply. The job training will run for four months starting in July.
