Photo courtesy of Hyundai Motor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Hyundai Motor Group (005380) held a launch ceremony for its 2026 Happy Move program, the company said Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">The ceremony was attended by group officials including Sung Kim, President of Strategy and Planning at Hyundai Motor Group, and Kim Dong-wook, Executive Vice President and Head of the Strategy and Planning Office, along with Habitat Chairwoman Ma Hee-ja, World Vision Division Head Na Yoon-chul, and about 200 university student volunteers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">Happy Move is Hyundai Motor Group&#8217;s flagship social contribution program, supporting university students in growing into future-generation leaders through overseas volunteer activities and cultural exchange experiences. Since its launch in 2008, more than 13,000 university students have participated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">This year&#8217;s program will take place in Indonesia and Vietnam from July to August. Activities will center on overseas volunteer work, cultural exchange, and tours of Hyundai Motor Group&#8217;s overseas business sites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">&#8220;I hope this will be a meaningful time to learn the value of sharing in the field and to understand different cultures,&#8221; President Sung Kim said. &#8220;Since volunteering is both an act of helping someone and a process of growing oneself, I hope you gain new perspectives and confidence through Happy Move.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">In his welcoming address, Sung Kim, President of Strategy and Planning at Hyundai Motor Group, encouraged participants, saying, &#8220;I hope this will be a meaningful time to learn the value of sharing in the field and to understand different cultures,&#8221; and &#8220;Since volunteering is both an act of helping someone and a process of growing oneself, I hope you gain new perspectives and confidence through Happy Move.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-[var(--color-text)] leading-relaxed\">&#8220;Happy Move is Korea&#8217;s largest university student social contribution program,&#8221; a Hyundai Motor Group official said. &#8220;We will continue to actively support the future generation in growing into global leaders.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Exterior view of Hyundai Motor and Kia&#8217;s Yangjae headquarters.
