WANA (Jun 26) \u2013 The foreign ministers of Iran and South Korea<\/a> held a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss the latest regional developments, the progress of Iran-U.S. negotiations, and bilateral relations.<\/p>\n

During the call, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun welcomed the recent understanding between Iran and the United States and reaffirmed Seoul\u2019s support for diplomatic efforts aimed at preserving peace and stability in West Asia, as well as ensuring the security of maritime navigation in the region.<\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi briefed his South Korean counterpart on the latest developments in the negotiations, the progress made in implementing the agreed understandings, and the diplomatic consultations conducted within that framework.<\/p>\n
