To be more specific, that\u2019s 39,605 gas-powered Tucsons, 53,886 Hybrids, and 2,819 Plug-in Hybrids.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-block-name=\"core\/paragraph\" data-wp-block=\"{&quot;dropCap&quot;:false}\">Hyundai told the NHTSA that a software hiccup can cause the instrument cluster and head-up display to stop communicating. When that happens, both systems hit reset at the same time, and your dash goes blank for a moment.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-block-name=\"core\/paragraph\" data-wp-block=\"{&quot;dropCap&quot;:false}\">That leaves drivers in the dark \u2013\u00a0literally \u2013\u00a0without a speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, or any of the must-see alerts.
