ATEEZ<\/a> are headed back to the big screen. The eight-man K-pop boy band released a thirty-second summer blockbuster-style trailer for their upcoming theatrical release on Monday morning (July 6), promising to bring the heat in premium sound and high-def visuals.<\/p>\n

ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS, the follow-up to the group\u2019s 2025 big screen effort, ATEEZ WORLD TOUR [TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER] IN CINEMAS, is slated to hit screens worldwide on Aug. 6 and 8. Making use of AMAZE\u2019s immersive VR technology \u2014\u00a0which toured select cities around the globe in 2025 and this year \u2014 the film will reimagine the group\u2019s performances in super high-def 8K resolution and 5.1 surround sound, letting ATINY experience \u201can intense, big-screen immersion featuring powerful live tracking of the group\u2019s global hits,\u201d according to a release.<\/p>\n

Fans will hear such hits as \u201cINCEPTION,\u201d \u201cBOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS)\u201d and \u201cIce On My Teeth,\u201d alongside 20 minutes of exclusive, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage available only in theaters. Local exhibitors will also have exclusive photocard fan gifts for distribution at theaters.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day, a mysterious message arrives for ATEEZ, who had been spending a peaceful time in their hideout. At that moment, everything began to change,\u201d reads a synopsis. \u201cATINY has vanished \u2026 As if under a spell, ATEEZ wanders through a dreamlike wasteland, into a collapsing world engulfed in flames, and the Dark City veiled in dense fog. Pursued by an unknown force, ATEEZ begins to fight back to find ATINY.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dramatic trailer cued to the band\u2019s 2021 single \u201cDeja Vu\u201d delivers on that moody premise, with Yunho, Seonghwa,\u00a0Mingi, San, Yeosang,\u00a0Hongjoong, Wooyoung and Jongho doing an intense dance with red fabric clenched between their teeth and pulling out some high-tech weapons in the VR concert that has been refitted for cinemas.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to collaborate with the AMAZE team to bring a reimagined version of their innovative ATEEZ VR concert experience to cinemas worldwide,\u201d said Trafalgar Releasing CEO Marc Allenby in a statement. \u201cWith ATEEZ\u2019s proven success in cinemas, we believe this new presentation, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes sequences, will offer fans a fresh way to connect with the group on a truly cinematic scale.\u201d<\/p>\n
