The timing is interesting given the layoffs at Xbox announced yesterday, as Microsoft owns Blizzard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRegistration is now open and excitement is growing for the August 12 start of Nexon\u2019s service of Overwatch on PC in Korea,\u201d said Junghun Lee, President and CEO of Nexon, in a statement. \u201cThe Nexon team has been working closely with Blizzard to provide a service that enhances the Overwatch experience through Nexon\u2019s best-in-class live operations and hyperlocalization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally released in 2016, Overwatch is one of Blizzard\u2019s flagship franchises, with more than 100 million lifetime players worldwide.
