Under this arrangement, Pacifico Energy Korea will oversee overall investment and project management for the Jindo cluster.<\/p>\n<p>EEW KHPC will handle offshore wind foundation manufacturing and supply, including pin piles. KMC Line will deliver marine logistics, transportation, installation support, and dedicated O&amp;M vessel operations. CS Energy will boost its production and technical capacity to manufacture and supply foundation components.<\/p>\n<p>The firms stated the goal is to enhance domestic sourcing, support regional industry, and turn Gwangyang Bay into a larger offshore wind supply hub.<\/p>\n<p>Pacifico Energy Korea noted that the local supply chain is growing in importance as South Korea aims to bolster energy security and reduce renewable power costs.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the MoU aligns with its approach of securing a stable and competitive Korean supply base for the Jindo cluster while aiding regional suppliers in entering the offshore wind market.<\/p>\n<p>Seung-Ho Choe, representative director of Pacifico Energy Korea, said that working with local manufacturers and logistics companies is vital for the successful development of large-scale offshore wind projects, and this MoU highlights the company&#8217;s core strategy of prioritizing the local offshore wind supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t1.
