The Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) declined 4%. The moves come\u00a0during a week marked by\u00a0choppy trading in the sector, after MU and SanDisk pulled back from record\u00a0highs last month.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean memory giant raised $26.5 billion by issuing 177.9 million American depositary receipts (ADS) priced at $149 each over this week. The share sale tops the $25 billion raised by Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba in 2014 and is the second biggest in U.S. stock sale on record after SpaceX\u2019s $75 billion offering last month.<\/p>\n<p>What Does SK Hynix\u2019s US Debut Mean For The Sector?<\/p>\n<p>SK Hynix said it will use the\u00a0cash raised\u00a0toward expanding its chip-making facilities and purchasing advanced equipment, according to its filing. The company\u2019s Seoul-listed stock has already more than tripled this year, boosted by insatiable global demand for its chips and hardware that go into data centers.<\/p>\n<p>Amid surging investor interest, the company\u2019s listing gives U.S. investors an alternative \u2013 and a benchmark \u2013 to Micron and other leading memory chipmakers, whose shares have also posted remarkable gains over the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Retail View On SKHY, Memory Stocks<\/p>\n<p>On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stocktwits.com\/symbol\/SKHY\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SKHY<\/a> moved higher in the \u2018extremely bullish\u2019 zone. The sentiment was \u2018bearish\u2019 for WDC, \u2018neutral\u2019 for DRAM, \u2018bullish\u2019 for MU, and \u2018extremely bullish\u2019 for SNDK, signaling a mixed opinion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSNDK $MU $SKHY Any move you brainiacs make or sentiment you feel today on day 1 is utterly irrelevant and can only be based on emotion.
