The sell-off came as renewed <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/bitcoin-falls-below-63000-as-markets-price-a-97-chance-hormuz-stays-disrupted-through-july\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tensions in the Middle Eas<\/a>t pushed oil prices higher, while steep losses in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix amplified the decline across Korea\u2019s chip-heavy benchmark.<\/p>\n<p>Upbit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/api.coingecko.com\/api\/v3\/exchanges\/upbit\/volume_chart?days=30\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">volume<\/a> rose from 7,436 BTC at 06:10 UTC on July 12 to 8,379 BTC on July 13, then to 8,724 BTC on July 14. That marked a 12.67% jump, followed by another 4.12% increase.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s number is still 27.38% below the 12,014 BTC average of the 30 observations and 57% below the series high of 20,506 BTC on June 26.
