The project targets approximately 7,000 cooperative members across Apgujeong districts 2, 3, and 5, centered on applying subscription packages that combine premium built-in appliances with professional management services to newly constructed complexes.

Prospective residents can choose from 5 to 7 types of built-in appliances on a subscription basis, varying by district, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, stylers, and dishwashers. Notably, penthouses in districts 3 and 5 will feature products from LG Electronics’ ultra-premium brands, “SKS” and “LG Signature.”

Households subscribing to the appliances will receive complimentary professional care services for five years after move-in, including component disassembly cleaning and performance inspections. LG Electronics’ specialized managers will directly oversee maintenance, and after the complimentary period ends, residents can enroll in a separate care program to continue receiving product management services.

This supply deal is part of LG Electronics’ strategy to aggressively expand its appliance subscription service into the business-to-business (B2B) market. As premium residential features have recently emerged as a key competitive differentiator in the construction market, the B2B appliance market targeting construction companies is growing in tandem.

On the 13th of this month, LG Electronics also signed a business agreement with GS Engineering & Construction to jointly develop a next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) residential system that integrates appliances, Internet of Things (IoT), and robot services for the “Xi” apartment brand.

At the center of these moves is LG Electronics’ AI Home hub, “ThinQ ON.” ThinQ ON not only provides integrated control of appliances and IoT devices within individual units but also offers apartment-specific features that link to complex infrastructure, such as elevator calling and community facility reservations. The “Our Complex Connect” service, operated within the ThinQ app, surpassed 300,000 enrolled households in the first half of this year.

“We will successfully establish subscription solutions optimized for apartment living environments, providing customers with convenient daily lives while securing new growth engines in the B2B market,” said Park Jae-sung, head of LG Electronics’ Korea B2B Group.

LG Electronics’ latest move is interpreted as a signal accelerating its transformation from a mere appliance seller into an integrated solution provider encompassing entire living spaces. By applying a premium subscription model to a large-scale reconstruction complex in a prime location like Apgujeong, the potential for future expansion to other construction companies and reconstruction projects is expected to increase.

LG Electronics (066570) is collaborating with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to supply appliance subscription services to the Apgujeong…

[25
20228,47839,47840,316,15637,315,357,314,3945,806,13774,4737
post-90990","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-lg","tag-ai-home","tag-apgujeong-reconstruction","tag-appliance-subscription-service","tag-b2b","tag-hyundai-engineering-construction","tag-lg","tag-lg-electronics","tag-lg-group","tag-lg-signature","tag-park-jae-sung","tag-sks","tag-thinq-on
["GET
