{"id":94240,"date":"2026-07-21T23:47:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T23:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/94240\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T23:47:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T23:47:06","slug":"seoul-science-museum-to-host-summer-festival-with-stargazing-and-hands-on-activities-july-29-aug-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/94240\/","title":{"rendered":"Seoul Science Museum to host summer festival with stargazing and hands-on activities July 29-Aug. 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mb2-plus4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/seoul-night-culture.jpg\" alt=\"Many people watching a movie on the rooftop.\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"default-font lh-default ma0 mh3 mt0 pb3\">\n\t\t\t\t (Photo by Seoul City Government\/courtesy of haps Magazine Korea)<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"storyline-p f4 \">The Seoul Museum of Science will host its annual \u201cMidsummer at the Science Museum\u201d festival from July 29 to August 2, offering five days of interactive science activities for children and families during the summer vacation.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"storyline-p f4 \">This year\u2019s event features a \u201cscience market\u201d theme, allowing visitors to choose from a variety of hands-on experiences.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"storyline-p f4 \">Activities include dyeing fingernails with balsam flowers while learning about chemistry, decorating pet rocks to explore geology, making eco-friendly mosquito repellent, and discovering ecosystems through rice paddy wildlife exhibits.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"storyline-p f4 \">Science magic shows, bubble performances, and interactive exhibition tours will also be held throughout the festival.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"storyline-p f4 \">On August 1, the museum will extend its hours until 10 p.m. for a special evening program.
