Political<br \/>\nconsultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of<br \/>\nAzerbaijan and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg were held in<br \/>\nLuxembourg on April 24, the MFA told <a href=\"http:\/\/en.trend.az\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister<br \/>\nFariz Rzayev, while the Luxembourg side was headed by V\u00e9ronique<br \/>\nDockendorf, Director of the Political Affairs Department at the<br \/>\nMinistry of Foreign and European Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>During the consultations, the sides held an extensive exchange<br \/>\nof views on bilateral cooperation. Discussions covered the current<br \/>\nstate and prospects of political relations, cooperation in the<br \/>\nconsular sphere, economic ties, as well as humanitarian cooperation<br \/>\nin education, science, and culture.<\/p>\n<p>The parties emphasized the importance of mutual visits and<br \/>\ncontacts within international events to ensure sustained political<br \/>\ndialogue.<\/p>\n<p>Cooperation within international organizations, including mutual<br \/>\nsupport for candidacies, was also discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The sides also exchanged detailed views on the regional<br \/>\nsituation, the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process,<br \/>\nlarge-scale reconstruction, restoration, and demining efforts in<br \/>\nthe liberated territories, as well as other international issues of<br \/>\nmutual interest.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the visit, Fariz Rzayev also held a series of<br \/>\nbusiness meetings in Luxembourg and took part in discussions<br \/>\norganized in a roundtable format at the University of<br \/>\nLuxembourg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 24.
