The approval clears Ripple to provide cryptoasset services throughout the European Economic Area (EEA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis CASP authorisation means Ripple enters the post-transitional MiCA era fully compliant and ready to scale,\u201d said Cassie Craddock, the company&#8217;s managing director for Europe and the U.K., in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The CASP license Ripple announced Monday makes the company one of a small number of digital asset firms to have full authorization under MiCA, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/07\/02\/three-years-after-mica-became-law-europe-s-crypto-framework-is-undergoing-a-rethink\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">became law three years ago<\/a> and came into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/07\/01\/europe-s-mica-rollout-sparks-debate-over-who-wins-under-new-crypto-rules\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">full force on July 1<\/a>. Crypto firms without a license must stop operating in the region. Ripple was granted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/06\/23\/ripple-targets-eu-wins-preliminary-mica-approval-from-luxembourg-financial-regulator\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">preliminary license<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n<p>Crypto exchange Binance is among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/06\/29\/europe-s-unlicensed-crypto-firms-face-wipeout-as-final-regulatory-deadline-falls\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">thousands of other CASPs<\/a> that failed to qualify in time.
