{"id":9923,"date":"2026-07-14T13:07:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T13:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/lu\/9923\/"},"modified":"2026-07-14T13:07:13","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T13:07:13","slug":"luxembourg-selects-uplift360-for-8-year-defense-materials-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/lu\/9923\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxembourg Selects Uplift360 for 8-Year Defense Materials Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/dronefront.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/WhatsAppVideo2026-05-15at09.23.58.gif\" alt=\"The Drone Front\" width=\"1280\" height=\"539\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luxembourg\u2019s Directorate of Defence has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nif.fund\/news\/nato-innovation-fund-portfolio-company-uplift360-secures-multi-year-agreement-by-luxembourg-directorate-of-defence-to-accelerate-european-supply-chain-for-advanced-materials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">awarded<\/a> Uplift360 an eight-year framework agreement to develop and supply advanced materials for European defense and aerospace systems using sources located within Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement is intended to reduce reliance on imported critical raw materials that may be vulnerable to export restrictions, geopolitical tensions, or other supply disruptions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its financial value was not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the framework, Uplift360 will work with Luxembourg\u2019s defense authorities to identify the material requirements of military platforms, expand production capacity, and develop technologies for securing future supplies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uplift360 said its chemical processing technology is designed to accelerate the production of defense materials from European sources, creating a supply-chain model that could be replicated across NATO as the company plans to expand its capabilities over the next 10 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yuriko Backes, Luxembourg Minister of Defence, stated that \u201crobust supply chains are the bedrock of our necessary defense industrial ramp-up.
