Russian hackers claimed hybrid warfare expert Bart De Wachter shared coordinates of oil and gas terminals in Russia’s Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions with Ukraine’s SBU, along with information on a Gazprom LNG tanker
A hybrid warfare specialist linked to Nato intelligence allegedly provided Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) with coordinates of oil and gas terminals in Russia’s Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions, as well as information on a Gazprom liquefied natural gas tanker, according to a TASS report, citing Russian hackers.
The hackers identified the specialist as Bart De Wachter, saying he is affiliated with HAVN (Hybrid Analyze Vigilant Network), an organisation they described as being connected to Special Operations Forces and Nato intelligence.
According to the hackers, De Wachter shared intelligence with an SBU representative that included the locations of oil and gas terminals in the two Russian regions and a Gazprom tanker carrying liquefied natural gas.
They also alleged that De Wachter’s work covers issues including Russia’s so-called shadow or illicit fleet, proxy networks, “weaponised migration” and Russian Houses, apparently referring to Russia’s network of cultural centres abroad.
Documents cited by the hackers reportedly show that De Wachter proposed an online meeting with an SBU International Cooperation Center representative identified as Ivan. His intelligence superior, named Martin, was also expected to participate.
Ivan later suggested adding SBU Major Mikhail Marchenko to the correspondence.

In an email to De Wachter, Ivan described Marchenko as an experienced specialist whose areas of expertise include hybrid threats, espionage, sabotage and information operations in modern conflicts.
