On Wednesday Finland approved a package of legislative changes that repealed the existing ban on nuclear weapons, a significant step in deepening the country\u2019s integration into NATO\u2019s defense system.<\/p>\n
The Parliament supported the bill with a vote of 125 to 61. The law allows the import, transport, supply, and possession of nuclear weapons on Finnish territory in cases where this is necessary to ensure national defense.<\/p>\n
