RHINEBECK, N.Y. — Taste of Rhinebeck, an annual event that brings the village’s award-winning food and beverage scene to life through a walkable tasting experience, will take place Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Guests will stroll the streets of Rhinebeck, visiting a curated selection of restaurants, spirit shops, and specialty food retailers along the way. With more than 25 tastings included, attendees can enjoy an evening of exceptional flavors — whether exploring solo or gathering with friends.
More than a celebration of local cuisine, Taste of Rhinebeck is an opportunity to give back. Proceeds from this year’s event will support American Legion Post No. 429 as it rebuilds following last fall’s devastating fire, as well as the Village Autism Supportive Community Committee and the Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing give-back initiatives, including food drives, toy drives, and the Rhinebeck High School scholarship program.
Attendees may choose between two staggered start times — 5 p.m. or 5:45 p.m. — that are designed to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable flow throughout the evening. Upon arrival, guests will be guided along a designated tasting path, allowing them to experience each stop without overcrowding.
Ticket prices will increase as the event approaches. They are currently $85 and will rise to $95 before going to $115 on the day of the event (if not sold out). Pre-registration is required, and all tickets must be purchased in advance. This is a cash-free event. Day-of tickets may be available at the door, if capacity allows. All ticket sales are final.
Presented by Hudson Valley Food and Wine Festival, Six Senses Hudson Valley, WDST Radio Woodstock, and the chamber, Taste of Rhinebeck highlights the very best of the region while fostering meaningful community impact. Throughout the evening, interactive experiences will showcase the meaningful strides Rhinebeck and its partners have made toward environmental sustainability, adding an engaging and educational element to the event.
Taste of Rhinebeck will go on rain or shine, with tents and coverings in place to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.
