Data centers are the litmus test for local elections
” for bringing awareness to all of us about the implications of these data centers. Your letter was excellent and yes, this is not a partisan issue.
I currently sit on the Litchfield City Council and requested this topic be put on our agenda recently. Our vital services, as they are currently, could not support a data center. The state’s role is unclear at this time.

I would hope more cities and counties protect our natural resources and vital systems.
