The talks focused on shielding civilian infrastructure, ports, and logistics hubs, while both governments reaffirmed support for energy security and accountability.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi discussed further measures to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
In a Facebook post, Koretskyi said that the conversation focused, among other things, on protection against Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure, ports, and logistics facilities.
Support for Ukraine’s Air Defense, Energy Sector, and European Integration
The head of the Ukrainian government thanked the Netherlands for its assistance to Ukraine’s energy sector, support for its path toward the European Union, and consistent sanctions policy.
Serhii Koretskyi also noted the Netherlands’ willingness to host a special tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine. He stressed that accountability for unleashing the war must be inevitable.
Following the talks, Serhii Koretskyi and Rob Jetten agreed to meet in person as soon as the opportunity arises.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that in 2026, partners’ supplies of missiles for Ukraine’s air defense decreased threefold compared with the previous year. Against the backdrop of Russian strikes on critical infrastructure, strengthening air defense remains one of Ukraine’s key priorities.
