What Is Molly-Mae Hague’s Net Worth?

Molly-Mae Hague is an English social media influencer, entrepreneur, television personality, and author who has a net worth of $20 million.

Molly-Mae Hague rose to fame on the 2019 season of “Love Island,” but unlike many reality television personalities, she converted that exposure into a substantial business career. After finishing second on the show with boxer Tommy Fury, Hague became one of Britain’s most commercially successful influencers. Her social media audience grew into the millions, and she landed a reported £500,000 deal with PrettyLittleThing before eventually becoming the company’s UK and European creative director.

Hague has increasingly shifted from promoting other companies to owning her own brands. She launched the self-tanning company Filter by Molly-Mae in 2019 and founded clothing label Maebe, whose first collection sold out within 24 minutes of its September 2024 launch. Forbes reported that Hague’s ventures generated approximately $26 million in combined revenue in 2025, while her audience across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok reached roughly 16 million followers. She has also starred in the Prime Video documentary series “Molly-Mae: Behind It All,” published the memoir “Becoming Molly-Mae,” and earned substantial income from sponsorships, appearances, advertising, and social media.

Early Life

Molly-Mae Hague was born on May 26, 1999, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, and grew up in Hitchin. Both of her parents worked as police officers, and she has an older sister named Zoe.

Hague participated in Irish dancing and beauty pageants while growing up. She was crowned Miss Teen Hertfordshire in 2015 and won World Teen Supermodel UK the following year before finishing as a runner-up at the international competition.

Rather than following a traditional academic path, Hague studied fashion retail in London at the Fashion Retail Academy. She has described the experience as an important step toward her eventual career. While studying, she worked at Boots and began building a social media following, creating fashion and lifestyle content from around age 17.

“Love Island”

Hague’s life changed dramatically when she joined the fifth season of ITV2’s “Love Island” in 2019. She entered the villa several days into the competition and coupled with Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.

Hague and Tommy became one of the season’s most popular couples and ultimately finished second behind Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea. Although Hague did not win the show’s £50,000 prize, she emerged as one of its biggest commercial success stories.

Her Instagram following reportedly increased from around 160,000 before “Love Island” to nearly three million by the time the season ended. That audience gave Hague enormous leverage with fashion and beauty brands and allowed her to begin earning significant sums almost immediately after leaving the villa.

PrettyLittleThing

One of Hague’s first major post-“Love Island” deals was with online fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing. She reportedly signed an agreement worth £500,000 to become a brand ambassador and launch her own clothing collections with the company.

The partnership grew far beyond a conventional influencer endorsement. In August 2021, PrettyLittleThing appointed Hague its creative director for the United Kingdom and Europe. She worked on campaigns, collections, events, and the company’s overall creative direction while continuing to serve as one of its most visible public faces.

Numerous reports later claimed that Hague was earning millions of pounds per year from the position, although some of the largest figures were never substantiated. Hague specifically denied a report that PrettyLittleThing had been paying her £400,000 per month.

She stepped down as creative director in June 2023, saying that becoming a mother had changed her priorities and that she wanted more control over her time. Her departure also preceded a larger shift toward developing brands that she owned herself rather than primarily promoting outside companies.

Filter by Molly-Mae

Hague launched Filter by Molly-Mae in 2019, beginning with self-tanning products. The business eventually expanded its range to include tanning mousses, drops, applicators, and related products and secured distribution through retailers including Selfridges and Boots.

The company represented an important change in Hague’s business model. Rather than receiving a fixed fee to advertise someone else’s product, she could participate directly in the value created by her own audience.

Hague has established several companies to manage her commercial activities, including MMH Group Holdings, MMH International, FMM Cosmetics, and Filter by Molly-Mae. British corporate filings identify her as the controlling shareholder of MMH Group Holdings, with ownership of at least 75% of its shares and voting rights.

Maebe

Hague’s most ambitious business venture became Maebe, a women’s fashion brand she spent roughly three years developing. The company’s name combines “Mae” from her own name with “B,” representing her daughter, Bambi.

The timing of the launch was difficult. Hague was preparing to introduce Maebe in 2024 while simultaneously going through her highly publicized breakup with Tommy Fury. She nevertheless proceeded with the launch, explaining that she had personally financed the project and was deeply involved in its development.

Maebe’s first collection went on sale on September 29, 2024, and sold out in 24 minutes. The initial range included tailored clothing, denim, knitwear, and wardrobe basics, with Hague positioning the label above the ultra-low-cost fast-fashion market with which she had previously been associated.

The launch also brought challenges. Customers criticized limited inventory, restocking issues, pricing, and the materials used in some garments. Hague addressed the feedback publicly and made the difficulties of building the company part of her Prime Video documentary series.

Maebe subsequently expanded with additional collections, pop-up events, and a growing operational team. By 2026, it had become a central component of Hague’s business empire rather than simply a celebrity capsule collection licensed to an established retailer.

Business Revenue and Influencer Earnings

Hague’s companies provide unusually strong evidence of the scale she has reached beyond traditional influencer sponsorships. Forbes reported that her ventures under the MMH Group Holdings umbrella generated approximately $26 million in revenue during 2025.

That business activity sits alongside a social media audience of roughly 16 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Hague’s YouTube channel has been particularly important to her career because long-form vlogs have allowed her to maintain an unusually direct relationship with her audience while generating advertising revenue and promoting her own products.

Over the years, Hague’s commercial partnerships have included brands such as Beauty Works, L’Oréal, Lookfantastic, Starbucks, and numerous fashion and beauty companies. She has also earned income through sponsored social media posts, licensing, appearances, television work, and product collaborations.

By building Filter and Maebe, Hague increasingly positioned herself to benefit from both sides of the influencer economy: earning fees from outside brands while using her audience to drive sales for companies she owns.

“Molly-Mae: Behind It All”

Prime Video premiered “Molly-Mae: Behind It All” in January 2025. The documentary series originally followed Hague during the aftermath of her breakup with Fury while she was raising their daughter and launching Maebe.

The series became particularly popular with younger female viewers in the United Kingdom. Amazon said its first season became Prime Video’s most-watched series among British women ages 18 to 34, and the program also won a National Television Award.

Its success led to a second season, which followed Hague’s expanding businesses, motherhood, and reconciliation with Fury. The show gave Hague another major media platform independent of “Love Island” and turned the behind-the-scenes operation of Maebe into part of her entertainment career.

Hague had previously published her autobiography, “Becoming Molly-Mae,” in 2022. The book covered her childhood, pageant years, early jobs, fashion education, rise on social media, relationship with Fury, and adjustment to fame.

Real Estate

In 2022, Hague and Fury reportedly purchased a six-bedroom mansion in Cheshire for around £4 million. The couple spent heavily renovating and furnishing the property, and Hague created a separate social media account devoted to its interior design.

The purchase followed a 2021 burglary at their previous Manchester-area home in which thieves reportedly stole approximately £800,000 worth of possessions. Hague subsequently became more cautious about revealing details of where she lived, although the Cheshire property later appeared prominently in “Molly-Mae: Behind It All.”

Personal Life

Hague began dating Tommy Fury after meeting him on “Love Island” in 2019. Their relationship continued after the show, and they became one of the franchise’s most recognizable couples.

Their daughter, Bambi, was born in January 2023. Tommy proposed to Hague in Ibiza in July of that year, but in August 2024, the couple announced that they had separated. Fury later said that problems involving alcohol contributed to the breakdown of their relationship.

Hague and Fury gradually reconciled during 2025, a process documented in “Molly-Mae: Behind It All.” They subsequently resumed their relationship and welcomed their second child, a son named Midas, in June 2026.

Despite becoming famous through reality television and social media, Hague has increasingly described herself primarily as a businesswoman. Her evolution from “Love Island” contestant to the owner of multiple consumer brands has made her one of the most financially successful personalities to emerge from the British reality television franchise.
