Natan has long been one of Queen Maxima’s preferred designers for special royal outings and public engagements. The queen consort’s wardrobe is rich with whimsically styled pieces, from floral dresses and colorful blouses to statement bows and more.
In November 2023, Natan, founded by Edouard Vermeulen, commemorated its 40th anniversary with an exhibition in Brussels and a special book. The exhibit included a quartet of dresses, which included pieces that had been recently worn by Queen Mathilde of Belgium, her eldest daughter and heir apparent Princess Elisabeth, as well as Queen Maxima. Natan designs are also a favorite of the Belgian queen, worn for special public occasions, including Belgian National Day.
