With up to 8.5 m³ cargo, 254 km range, and price from €29,900, it’s an affordable EV.

2026-05-13T07:55:13+03:00

2026-05-13T07:55:13+03:00

2026-05-13T07:55:13+03:00

Ford has added a new electric van to its European Transit range: the Transit City. It’s launching in the Netherlands and is effectively a rebadged version of the Chinese JMC E-Fushun. That’s no surprise, given the joint venture between Ford and JMC in China that builds commercial vehicles.Three body styles will be available: the short-and-low L1H1, the longer and taller L2H2, and an L2 chassis cab. The largest variant offers 8.5 cubic meters of cargo space and a maximum payload of 1,235 kg.All versions of the Ford Transit City use the same drivetrain: a 150-hp electric motor paired with a 56-kWh LFP battery. Claimed range is up to 254 km, and fast charging is supported at up to 87 kW. Equipment is also consistent, including a 12.3-inch infotainment system, air conditioning, a heated driver’s seat, a rearview camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and front and rear parking sensors. The big selling point is price. The chassis cab starts at €29,900, the L1H1 van at €30,900, and the L2H2 at €33,100. For context, the E-Transit Custom begins at €44,390 in the Netherlands. But that larger model justifies its cost with a claimed 370-km range and 125-kW fast charging.

Ford Transit City, electric van, JMC E-Fushun, L1H1, L2H2, chassis cab, 150 hp, 56 kWh battery, 254 km range, €29,900, affordable EV, commercial vehicle

2026

news

https://www.32cars.ru/en/posts/id29425-ford-transit-city-ev-debuts-in-netherlands-at-eur29-900 Ford Transit City EV Debuts in Netherlands at €29,900 Ford Transit City Electric Van: Starting at €29,900…

[2
9292,9289,9291,9290,9293,9294,3593,9295,9285,9284,9286,9287,9288,6
0":"post-11066","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-netherlands","8":"tag-e29","9":"tag-150-hp","10":"tag-254-km-range","11":"tag-56-kwh-battery","12":"tag-9293","13":"tag-affordable-ev","14":"tag-chassis-cab","15":"tag-commercial-vehicle","16":"tag-electric-van","17":"tag-ford-transit-city","18":"tag-jmc-e-fushun","19":"tag-l1h1","20":"tag-l2h2","21":"tag-netherlands
["GET
