{"id":11491,"date":"2026-05-14T13:34:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:34:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/11491\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T13:34:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:34:06","slug":"jet-aviation-san-marino-adds-groups-first-acj220","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/11491\/","title":{"rendered":"Jet Aviation San Marino adds group&#8217;s first ACJ220"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/37G\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jet Aviation Business Jets (San Marino)<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/2429\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rimini<\/a>)  has added the group&#8217;s first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/ACJ2201\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ACJ220-100<\/a>, the first aircraft of the type to be based in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 2024, the VIP-configured airliner was registered in San Marino as T7-828 (msn 50071) in late 2025. Managed by Jet Aviation San Marino and maintained by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/entities\/05SL\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jet Aviation Group<\/a>&#8216;s Singapore MRO on behalf of a large corporation, the aircraft has been based at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/3941\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Singapore Seletar<\/a> since early March.<\/p>\n<p>Jet Aviation San Marino, which holds a local air operator&#8217;s certificate (AOC), further operates a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/BD700XR\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Global Express XRS<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/F200LXS\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Falcon 2000LXS<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/GULG550\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">G550<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/GULG650\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">G650<\/a>, and three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/GU650ER\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">G650ER<\/a>s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/1RW\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Airbus Corporate Jets<\/a> announced the ACJ220&#8217;s delivery on May 4. \u201cWe are delighted that the ACJ220 is debuting in Asia, carving out a new market segment &#8211; &#8216;The Xtra Large Bizjet&#8217;,\u201d Chadi Saade, president of Airbus Corporate Jets, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft was outfitted before delivery by an Airbus partner. ch-aviation research indicates the ACJ220 was parked at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/4641\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Indianapolis International<\/a> between early 2024 and February 19, 2026. The airport is home to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/mro-providers\/006C\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Comlux Completion<\/a>, which specialises in ACJ220 cabin outfitting, among other types.<\/p>\n<p>Jet Aviation San Marino&#8217;s managed ACJ220 is the first of the type to be based in the Asia-Pacific region and the fourth to enter service worldwide. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/CXM\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Comlux Aviation Malta<\/a> operates the first three ACJ220-100s, with one based at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/2643\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Almaty International<\/a> and two at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dubai World Central<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Airbus Corporate Jets said the next two ACJ220 deliveries are scheduled for 2027 and 2028, with both aircraft destined for Asia.<\/p>\n<p>One ACJ220 registered to Comlux Aviation Malta is currently being outfitted by Comlux Completion in Indianapolis International, while another, assigned to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/AIR\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Airbus<\/a>, is undergoing completion at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/mro-providers\/002D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ALOFT AeroArchitects<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airports\/4552\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Georgetown, DE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer also disclosed that the three customers secured in Asia were previously business jet owners.
