Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre <\/a>(EEMC), a $300 million investment to scale up infrastructure and capabilities to maintain, repair and overhaul engines in Emirates\u2019 fleet of aircraft.<\/p>\nGE Aerospace will provide technical consultancy to Emirates in setting up the piece part component repair line, as well as in knowledge transfer to the EEMC team for best practices and benchmarks in component repair.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to take a strategic step in upscaling our engine repair capabilities by investing in infrastructure and partnering with GE Aerospace to support our vision for world-class engine repairs and maintenance,\u201d said Adel Al Redha, Emirates\u2019 Deputy President and CCO.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cThe agreement with GE Aerospace will be pivotal to provide our workforce with the specialized skills needed for piece part component repair for the GE90 and GP 7200 engines that power our Boeing 777 and a part of our Airbus A380 fleet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emirates said that combined with the expansion of the Engine Maintenance Centre in Dubai, Emirates Engineering will be positioned as a \u201ccenter of excellence for engine repairs providing efficient and seamless engine serviceability\u201d.<\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce\u2019s RR Trent 900 is also used by Emirates to power some of its Airbus A380s. In November 2025, the two partners signed an agreement paving the way for Emirates to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul on their own Trent 900 engines.<\/p>\n
Emirates will build a new facility with the first engine induction forecast from 2027. Emirates will complete fan case repairs at the facility and Rolls-Royce will maintain module repair capability within the global network.<\/p>\n
