{"id":13142,"date":"2026-05-18T02:26:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T02:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/13142\/"},"modified":"2026-05-18T02:26:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T02:26:16","slug":"india-enters-global-chip-race-as-tata-electronics-partners-with-semiconductor-giant-asml-indiablooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/13142\/","title":{"rendered":"India enters global chip race as Tata Electronics partners with semiconductor giant ASML | Indiablooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tTata Electronics and Dutch multinational corporation ASML, on Saturday, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen India\u2019s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem during the ongoing visit of PM <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiablooms.com\/world\/netherlands-returns-1000-year-old-chola-era-copper-plates-to-india-during-modi-visit\/details\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Narendra Modi<\/a> to the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tUnder the partnership, Dutch multinational firm ASML will support the establishment and successful ramp-up of Tata Electronics\u2019 upcoming 300 mm (12-inch) semiconductor fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe collaboration marks a significant milestone in the growing strategic partnership between India and The Netherlands in the field of critical technologies, particularly semiconductor manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\tAs part of the agreement, Tata Electronics and ASML will work together to deploy ASML\u2019s comprehensive suite of advanced lithography tools and solutions at the Dholera facility. The deployment of ASML\u2019s industry-leading technologies is expected to ensure seamless operations at India\u2019s first commercial 300 mm semiconductor fab, delivering high-quality value to Tata Electronics\u2019 global customers.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe two companies will also collaborate to develop domestic talent, strengthen supply chains, and promote research initiatives to support the long-term success of the Dholera Fab.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tDr. Randhir Thakur, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Electronics, said:&#8221;We are excited to partner with ASML, a company renowned for its innovation and leadership in lithography, and for enabling semiconductor customers globally.
