(is associated with: \u00abStellantis and JLR to work together on US car development\u00bb) Martin Schutt\/dpa-Zentralbild\/dpa      <\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Stellantis and JLR have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the pair work together on product development in the United States.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Under the non-binding agreement, both carmakers will look to &#8220;create value&#8221; by developing both product and technology for the American market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Antonio Filosa, chief executive officer of Stellantis, said: \u201cBy working with partners to explore synergies in areas such as product and technology development, we can create meaningful benefits for both sides while remaining focused on delivering the products and experiences our customers love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Current Stellantis-owned brands in the US include Jeep, Ram and Chrysler, alongside more European companies such as Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Maserati.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">JLR, meanwhile, sells its Defender and Range Rover products in the US and is expected to launch its new Type 01 soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">PB Balaji, chief executive officer of JLR, said: \u201cAs we continue to evolve JLR for the future, collaboration will play an important role in unlocking new opportunities.
