The companies said this integration is intended to improve vehicle cockpit functionality, connectivity and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), while enabling a more scalable and flexible technology platform.

The partnership aims to accelerate product development timelines and support continuous software upgrades, allowing features to be updated over the vehicle lifecycle. The architecture has been designed to operate across multiple brands and vehicle segments within the Stellantis portfolio, supporting efforts to streamline development and reduce costs through standardisation.

A key component of the collaboration includes the adoption of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Ride Pilot platform for ADAS. The system can be scaled from basic safety features to advanced capabilities, including Level 2+ hands‑free driving and beyond. Stellantis said this will enable broader deployment of driver assistance technologies across millions of vehicles.

The expanded partnership also builds on existing work in digital cockpit and connectivity solutions, adding greater computing performance and artificial intelligence capabilities to support more advanced vehicle functions.

As part of the agreement, the two companies have signed a non‑binding letter of intent for aiMotive, Stellantis’ automated driving and simulation subsidiary, to join Qualcomm Technologies. The proposal remains subject to further conditions.

Ned Curic, chief engineering and technology officer at Stellantis, said the collaboration would support evolving customer expectations. “Our customers deserve seamless, next‑generation experiences that continuously evolve to meet their driving needs.
