FLAG carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) took delivery of its second Airbus A350-1000 on Friday as part of the airline\u2019s continuing fleet modernization program.<\/p>\n
Registered locally as RP-C3511, the aircraft arrived in Manila at 5:18 p.m. from the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France. This followed the delivery of PAL\u2019s first A350-1000 in December 2025 and forms part of the airline\u2019s order for nine Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.<\/p>\n
PAL remains the first and only carrier in Southeast Asia to operate this long-range wide-body variant.<\/p>\n
Designed for long-haul operations, the A350-1000 delivers greater fuel efficiency, operational reliability, passenger comfort and improved environmental performance, supporting PAL\u2019s growing network between the Philippines and North America.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs demand for international travel continues to grow, this second Airbus A350-1000 will play an important role in enhancing our long-haul operations and elevating the overall passenger experience while supporting the long-term modernization of Philippine Airlines,\u201d said PAL President Richard Nuttall.<\/p>\n
The airline said that the arrival of the second Airbus A350-1000 comes as PAL continues to build on its operational momentum following its successful recovery and transformation.<\/p>\n
In 2025, global aviation analytics firm Cirium recognized PAL as the first airline to be\u200b on-time in the South Pacific region.<\/p>\n
The aircraft was designed with a 382-seat tri-class configuration optimized for ample s\u200bpace and high-end traveler comfort.<\/p>\n
It has 42 \u201cMabuhay Studios\u201d (Business Class) full-flat suites featuring individual sliding privacy doors, wireless charging pads and large 20-inch 4K screens.<\/p>\n
In Premium Economy, there are 24 seats featuring enhanced legroom, footrests and 13.3-inch 4K monitors.<\/p>\n
The Economy Class has 316 seats arranged with a comfortable 32-inch seat pitch and personal device holders.<\/p>\n
