I didn&#8217;t know this was ever going to happen, but it happened,&#8221; said 10-year-old Dutch fan Caleb Solognier.Caleb and his father, Raul Solognier, were among those waiting to catch a glimpse of the team. Raul was born in the Netherlands and now lives in Lee&#8217;s Summit.&#8221;I guess a lot of us don&#8217;t really realize how special it is. It&#8217;s going to be an insanely good time,&#8221; Raul Solognier said.The Netherlands will use the Kansas City Current training facility in Riverside as its World Cup base camp during the tournament.The team&#8217;s arrival has already led to excitement around the Plaza neighborhood.Mark Ogren, who lives across the street from the hotel, stopped by carrying a pair of wooden clogs his father purchased in Holland in 1956.&#8221;It&#8217;s a great experience for Kansas Citians.
