Japan\u2019s Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako have departed on a two-week official visit to the Netherlands and Belgium, aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote international goodwill.<\/p>\n
The imperial couple left Tokyo on Saturday (July 13), marking their fourth overseas trip since the Emperor\u2019s accession, Caliber.Az<\/a> reports via<\/a> Japanese media.<\/p>\n The visit includes formal welcomes, state banquets and meetings with senior European leaders.<\/p>\n In the Netherlands,\u00a0Emperor Naruhito and Empress\u00a0Masako will be hosted in Amsterdam by King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen M\u00e1xima of the Netherlands.
