What we know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The \u201cOranje Fanwalk\u201d by fans of the Netherlands on game day might be mindful of a Chiefs or Royals parade along Grand Blvd., with one notable exception.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIn the Chiefs parades, we\u2019re not all participating in that,\u201d said KCPD Major Abigail Martinez. \u201cIt will be a procession of everyone who wants to join.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Thousands of orange-clad Dutch fans \u2014 and orange-clad friends \u2014 are expected to participate in the march that will begin at the Power &amp; Light District.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Fans will gather around 9:30 a.m. and the march, which will follow an orange double-decker bus, will begin around 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It will proceed down Grand until reaching Pershing Road, near Union Station. Martinez said there will be street closures but wasn\u2019t specific beyond that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cPart of keeping people safe in large crowds is keeping vehicles from mixing with those crowds,\u201d Martinez said. \u201cWe will have streets shut down when we start to see those crowds gather. There will be an impact on traffic, so if you\u2019re working downtown or traveling through downtown, make sure that you arrive early and are traveling safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">About 10,000 took part in the march before Holland\u2019s game in Houston on Saturday.
