The truce remains intact, fueling risk appetite.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is viewed as a negotiating lever and, even without an immediate agreement, markets are pricing in a possible extension of the truce, with any equity pullbacks considered buying opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn the monetary front, Kevin Warsh&#8217;s Senate hearing for the Fed is expected on April 21, a risk that has not yet been fully priced in.<\/p>\n<p>\nRegarding the euro, the European Central Bank maintains a mixed tone: Christine Lagarde remains cautious, signaling a choice between a baseline and an adverse scenario, leaving the door open for further hikes.<\/p>\n<p>\nConsequently, the FTSE Mib is in fractional green at 48,188.13, the Mid-Cap is up 0.2% at 57,676.22, the Small-Cap gains 0.4% to 34,529.48, while Italy Growth rises 0.6% to 8,744.35.<\/p>\n<p>\nLondon&#8217;s FTSE 100 is up 0.1%, as is Frankfurt&#8217;s DAX 40, while the CAC 40 in Paris sheds 0.6%.<\/p>\n<p>\nReturning to Milan, on the large-cap list of Piazza Affari, Stellantis is catching a bid, rising 3.3% to lead the basket with over 9 million shares already traded. The group&#8217;s shareholders&#8217; meeting in Amsterdam marks an attempt to turn the page after a challenging 2025, supported by recent positive data on registrations and production, as reported Wednesday by Corriere della Sera.<\/p>\n<p>\nChairman John Elkann, reconfirmed with nearly 90% of the votes, emphasized that the group showed resilience during a transition year, laying the groundwork for recovery and looking toward 2026 with &#8220;humility&#8221; but also confidence, reaffirming support for the new CEO Antonio Filosa.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Monte dei Paschi di Siena shareholders&#8217; meeting opens at 1000 CEST to define governance, with attendance expected at around 68% of the capital, in line with February despite the absence of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which holds 4.8%. According to Corriere della Sera, the board meeting to assign mandates and verify candidate eligibility has been postponed.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe board&#8217;s list, which re-nominates Nicola Maione for chairman and proposes Fabrizio Palermo as CEO, is expected to garner between 22% and 23% of the votes, with the potential to reach 30%. MPS is up 2.5% at EUR8.429.<\/p>\n<p>\nA major banking consortium is taking shape to support CVC Capital Partners&#8217; bid for Recordati, involving Mediobanca, Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, JPMorgan, and Deutsche Bank, acting as both advisors and financiers for the EUR10.9 billion deal for the Italian pharmaceutical company. Recordati shares are down 1.2%.<\/p>\n<p>\nAmplifon is performing well, up 1.9% with over 200,000 shares changing hands.<\/p>\n<p>\nFincantieri &#8211; down 1.2% &#8211; announced on Tuesday that it delivered the multipurpose support unit &#8220;Tritone&#8221; to the Navy at the Palermo shipyard.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Mediobanca shareholders&#8217; meeting approved the distribution of a gross dividend of EUR0.63 per share, to be paid on April 22, with a record date of April 21 and an ex-dividend date of April 20. Piazzetta Cuccia is gaining 2.0%.<\/p>\n<p>\nUniCredit &#8211; down 0.5% &#8211; is reportedly ready to drop its appeal against the TAR ruling that halted its takeover of Banco BPM &#8211; up 0.3% &#8211; after initially deciding last November to approach the Council of State to contest the decision of the Lazio administrative court, which in July had only partially accepted the appeal against the conditions imposed by the government under Golden Power regulations, as reported Wednesday by la Repubblica.<\/p>\n<p>\nAmong other decliners, Tenaris sheds 1.2%, as does Brunello Cucinelli.<\/p>\n<p>\nAt the bottom of the main list, Moncler sits at the open, down 2.0% with 150,000 shares traded.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn the Mid-Cap, MAIRE leads the gainers with a 1.6% advance, marking its third consecutive bullish candle.<\/p>\n<p>\nMoltiply Group is also performing well, up 1.5%, while Caltagirone gains 1.3%.<\/p>\n<p>\nAt the bottom of the mid-cap list is Salvatore Ferragamo, in the red by 1.9%.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn the Small-Cap, Banca Profilo is the top performer at the start, advancing 8.6% following Tuesday&#8217;s double-digit gain.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn the other side of the list, Bastogi is down 7.1%. The company announced that the board of directors approved the results for the year ended December 31, 2025, reporting a profit of EUR17.8 million, up from EUR6.9 million recorded on December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\nTriboo &#8211; flat at EUR0.40 &#8211; announced Wednesday that 2025 closed with a loss of EUR2.3 million, an improvement over the negative result of EUR11.2 million in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\nRevenue stood at EUR52.6 million, down 19% from EUR64.9 million in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>\nOlidata &#8211; down 0.1% &#8211; and Yakkyo &#8211; up 3.2% among SMEs &#8211; announced Wednesday that they have signed a partnership agreement making Yakkyo the exclusive full-service industrial partner for hardware devices in the BeYou line, Olidata&#8217;s new range of notebooks, tablets, and accessories.<\/p>\n<p>\nAmong SMEs, Directa SIM is shedding 3.5% at the opening bell after gains in the previous session.<\/p>\n<p>\nCasta Diva Group &#8211; down 0.6% &#8211; announced Wednesday that it achieved revenue of EUR25.3 million in the first quarter, up 6.8% from EUR23.7 million in the same period of 2025. The order backlog stands at EUR43.9 million, in line with the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>\nTelesia &#8211; untraded &#8211; announced Tuesday that it closed 2025 with a net profit of EUR550,000, swinging from a loss of EUR190,000 as of December 31, 2024.
