At the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada delegation with the leaders and representatives of local Ukrainian public organizations took place.<\/p>\n
According to an official statement from the Embassy on its Facebook page, the meeting took place in The Hague with the participation of the heads and representatives of local Ukrainian public organizations.<\/p>\n
The delegation arrived in The Hague to participate in the 33rd annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.<\/p>\n

During a discussion with the diaspora, the Members of Parliament outlined in detail the main directions and resolutions Ukraine is promoting during the Assembly\u2019s summer session, and also presented the events and diplomatic briefings organized by the Ukrainian side during the forum.<\/p>\n
In addition to the foreign-policy agenda, the meeting became a platform for discussing the needs, challenges, and priorities of Ukrainian refugees and the longstanding Ukrainian diaspora in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
Participants emphasized that such an exchange of views confirmed the importance of ongoing coordinating dialogue and close cross-sectoral cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the diplomatic mission, and the Ukrainian diaspora abroad.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Saturday school \u201cMalvy\u201d in Almere was visited by the city\u2019s mayor, Hein van der Loo, to express support for the educational institution and discuss the importance of preserving the national identity of Ukrainians abroad.<\/p>\n
