Stellantis used supplier records and vehicle production data to identify the affected vehicle population.<\/p>\n Vehicles built outside of this production window or not equipped with the premium headlamp assemblies are not included in the recall.<\/p>\n The affected headlamp assemblies were supplied by Marelli North America<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2191 Back to top<\/a><\/p>\n On April 16, 2026, the FCA US LLC (\u201cFCA US\u201d) Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance (\u201cTSRC\u201d) organization opened an investigation into some 2026 MY Ram 1500 vehicles with premium headlamp assemblies (LM6) that may experience intermittent Parking Lamps and DRLs.<\/p>\n From April 2026 through May 2026, FCA US TSRC met with FCA US Engineering to understand root cause, customer consequence and vehicle scope.<\/p>\n From April 2026 through May 2026, FCA US TSRC conducted an analysis of field records and customer assistance records to understand potential customer consequences.<\/p>\n On June 10, 2026, FCA US TSRC organization recognized that a vehicle build issue existed on certain vehicles related to premium headlamp assemblies, potentially resulting in a noncompliance with FMVSS No. 108.<\/p>\n On June 25, 2026, FCA US determined, through the Vehicle Regulations Committee, that a noncompliance to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 exists in certain vehicles.<\/p>\n The Fix<\/p>\n \u2191 Back to top<\/a><\/p>\n Dealers will inspect the affected headlamp assemblies and replace them as necessary at no cost to owners. Stellantis expects to mail interim owner notification letters on July 30, 2026, informing customers of the safety risk while the company finalizes the repair.<\/p>\n A second notification letter will be mailed once the final remedy is available.
